This attractive mineral specimen comes from Landsverk near Evje in Norway, a well-known pegmatite locality in Agder. Numerous pale violet fluorite octahedra occur on a light-colored albite matrix, creating an appealing contrast with the white host material.

The fluorite crystals reach sizes of up to approximately 5 mm and display the characteristic octahedral crystal form of fluorite. The combination of the violet crystals with the fine albite crystals is particularly attractive and gives the specimen a harmonious appearance despite its subtle coloration.
