Minerals fascinate me not only as a collector, but also from a geological perspective. As a geologist, I am particularly interested in the formation of mineral deposits, their mineral assemblages, and the precise provenance of individual specimens.
Many minerals on this website were acquired by me directly during my own travels or collected in the field. Precise locality information, well-founded descriptions, and an honest representation of each individual specimen are especially important to me.
