Colombia is world-famous for its exceptional emeralds. On two trips, I visited some of the country’s most important deposits and gained first-hand insights into the geology, mining, and life in the emerald regions.
Parisite is one of the rarest minerals from Colombia’s emerald region and is closely associated with the hydrothermal processes of Muzo.

I only add specimens to the shop that convince me through their locality, quality, or mineralogical significance.
