Norway is one of the most mineralogically diverse countries in Europe. It is especially known for its numerous pegmatites, alkaline rock complexes and historic quarries. These localities have produced a wide range of classic and, in some cases, rare mineral species.

Many important collecting areas are located in southern Norway. These include the regions around Kragerø, Evje-Iveland, Larvik, Tørdal and the Oslo Rift.

In this category, you will find minerals and collector specimens from various Norwegian localities. The selection includes feldspars, quartz, fluorite, garnets and rarer mineral species from pegmatites and alkaline rocks.
