Honey-Yellow Fluorite from Aouli, Morocco, on Acrylic Base

North African Classic: Honey-Yellow Fluorite Crystals on Acrylic Base

This attractive small cabinet specimen represents a characteristic example of Moroccan mineralogy: honey-yellow fluorite on matrix from the famous Aouli mining district in the Midelt region of Morocco. The collector specimen is distinguished by its intensely yellow, luminous cubic fluorite crystals, which reach an impressive edge length of up to 1.5 cm. They are attractively positioned on the natural rock matrix and display a vitreous luster.

Ready for Display on an Acrylic Base

The historic Aouli locality lies in the Moulouya Valley near Midelt and is internationally known for its well-developed vein mineralization. A particular advantage for collectors who value presentation is that the 71 g specimen, measuring 5.0 × 5.0 × 2.0 cm, has already been professionally mounted on a clear acrylic base and is therefore ready for immediate display in a mineral cabinet. Its rich color makes it an eye-catching addition to a systematic mineral collection.
