Attractive fluorite miniature with numerous pale green to faint violet crystals and subtle color zoning. The specimen comes from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia.
Pale Green Fluorite with Violet Color Zoning from Namibia
This compact fluorite miniature displays numerous closely intergrown crystals in pale green to gray-green shades. Several crystals also show faint violet zones, edges, or inclusions, giving the specimen a subtle but appealing color variation.
The crystal group is densely developed and offers an interesting appearance from several viewing angles. Individual crystal faces are clearly visible and show vitreous luster in places. Other areas appear slightly matte, etched, or covered by a fine beige-yellow material, creating a natural and irregular surface texture.
Closely Intergrown Fluorite Crystals
The appeal of this specimen lies less in a single dominant main crystal than in its rich crystal coverage and compact three-dimensional form. Most of the fluorite crystals are intergrown, but their polygonal faces and delicate green-violet zoning still allow individual crystals to stand out.
In some areas, black mineral sections are visible; these are schorl.
