Rock Crystal from the Peña Blanca Mine, Colombia – Clear Single Crystal

This Rock Crystal from the Peña Blanca Mine near San Pablo de Borbur in Colombia is distinguished by its high transparency, clearly developed prismatic crystal body and well-formed termination. Large parts of the crystal are colorless and transparent, allowing both the outer crystal faces and natural internal structures to be seen clearly.

With a length of 7.5 cm, the single crystal has an elegant, slender shape. The smooth crystal faces display a pronounced vitreous luster and reflect the light strongly depending on the viewing angle.
